Vicente is a fisherman from Talicud Island who lost his leg due to infection. He would like to get an artificial below knee leg to help him walk, as he uses crutches to walk now and it is difficult getting around on uneven ground. The cost of his artificial leg is 7000Php, which he will be measured for and receive from a prosthetic technician at Davao Doctor’s Hospital named Majie in the Orthopaedic clinic there. This cost includes his travel from Talicud Island to Davao and back from Davao Doctor’s for the measurement and fitting of the left below knee prosthestic leg and shoe.
