LET'S HELP THE VICTIMS...

Roots Time Bar and Reggae is a kind of bar who accept artists/organizers from different places to make an event that can help other people. The place can be used for gigs, workshops, meeting people, etc. It is located in Saavedra St., (infront of East West Bank) Toril, 8025 Davao City. 

Roots Time Bar & Reggae is now organizing a gig for a cause for the typhoon Pablo victims in Mindanao this coming December 15, 2012 @ 7PM. They consider any form of donation/help that you think it’s practical to the victims. It can be food, old clothes, alternative medicines, water, etc.

Successful fundraising concert

We would like to thank Sa’less Diner and Moozika, Hoint, Lifelinez, Free Humanity, Spaced Out and all the people who supported for the successful dub/reggae night last December 1, 2012. Although some of the bands and the people we’ve invited didn’t show up, and the show started late (at around 10pm), and we experienced a short black out, it went out good and ended at around 2am. We raised an amount of 800Php for Vicente’s artificial leg installation and we are very thankful for this, hoping to have another fundraising show in January! We also met different people who appreciated our fundraising effort and offered us help in the future. Again, we would like to say “Salamat” to all who donated and appreciate event like this. We are very hopeful that together with you, ideas like Balay Tabang will flourish and help many people in the coming days.
